Thank you for looking.
This is an iron tsuba (sword guard) with an intricate openwork design.

It was found in my grandfather's house and appears to have no maker's mark.
As you can see in the photos, it is heavily rusted and the pattern is not clearly visible, so I am listing it at about half the market price based on my research.
