This is a fukuro obi made from Nishijin-ori silk. It features a silver foil pattern on a white background. The silver patterned areas are created using a special weaving technique that makes them bulge, giving it a cool, three-dimensional look. Although the base is white, the silver foil makes the background appear slightly creamy. This obi is recommended for furisode, houmongi, and all types of formal kimonos. The price includes tailoring. The width is approximately 31cm, and the length is around 440cm. Tailoring will take approximately 7 to 10 days. We also offer additional services such as Pearl Tone processing (+$6,000) and Guard processing (+$3,000) for an extra charge.
