Early Showa Period KAWAI Pedal Organ Approx. 100 Years Old With Chair Antique Furniture

This is a foot-pedal reed organ from Kawai Musical Instruments, dating back to the early Showa period.

The front features a TRADE MARK logo with medals indicating awards from that era, a characteristic design of pre-war Kawai instruments.

Based on the logo and construction, it is believed to be an instrument from **around 1928-1935 (approximately 90-100 years ago)**.

During the Meiji and early Showa periods, reed organs like this were used in Japanese homes and churches to accompany hymns and folk songs.

It is a very atmospheric antique instrument with a deep and wonderful tone that evokes the history of that time.

It is a foot-pedal model with two pedals and a knee lever.

It was inspected about five years ago.
It still produces sound!!
Only the leftmost key does not produce sound (Image 10), but the sound of the other keys has been confirmed.

The openwork carvings and the texture of the wood are beautiful, and it can create a rich atmosphere as antique furniture for traditional Japanese houses, cafes, photo studios, or shop displays.

Although it shows some damage, a chair (bench) is also included as a set.
