This antique desk bureau with glass shelves is not too tall at 170 cm and a comfortable 72 cm wide, offering ample storage.

I had been searching for a long time for a desk bureau of this perfect height with glass shelves, and this was the piece I acquired.

Initially, I placed it in an open closet, but I also enjoyed having it in the living room to admire.

The reason for selling is decluttering due to living in a small house.

The desk area had an unpainted wooden frame (I removed the small shelves as they were difficult to use and coming loose), so I've applied a removable William Morris patterned paper sheet. It can be easily peeled off. You could also paint it or attach your favorite fabric.

The glass bureau section opens and closes with a key. It opens and closes easily.

The wooden cabinet has glass doors, with shelves at the top and storage space at the bottom.

I would be happy if it finds a home with someone who will cherish it.

For your reference, I used it for about a year. I typically stored guest cups inside and used it to prepare tea at the desk, so it primarily served as a display shelf.
The last image shows how I used it. Please use it as a reference for how it can be used.

I lined the shelves and drawers with my favorite paper.

The shelves are shiny from occasional polishing and have an antique charm.

As it is an old item, there are some scratches, but I used it without particular concern.
I have not added any new scratches since purchasing it. I used it with care.

The lower drawers and shelves were convenient.

In image 18, I accidentally forgot to mention that I had covered a 1.2 cm hole on the back with masking tape, so I have added an image and reduced the price again. I strive to provide as detailed a description of the condition as possible.
