These items are pre-shaped to some extent. The nut has guide grooves, but please check the string height and other factors while filing them down for use.

How about replacing plastic nuts and saddles?
Even with inexpensive ukuleles, simply replacing plastic with cow bone will significantly improve the sound.

Ukulele sizes vary.
If the replacement is larger than the original, it can be filed down. However, if it is smaller, there is nothing that can be done, so please carefully check the dimensions.

It is unlikely that these will be exactly the same as your original parts, so installation will require adjusting the height while checking string height, and processing to fit the width of the nut and saddle.
