This is a Shino Ear-handled Mizusashi by Mizuno Komugi, a ceramic artist from Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. It is self-made, undamaged, and comes with a shared box.
The condition is good.
It can be used and enjoyed in tea ceremonies regardless of the season.
The bottom of the work is marked with the character 古 (Ko).
This is an ear-handled Mizusashi with a constricted body, decorated with grass motifs at the bottom, and generously coated with Shino glaze.
It is a well-made piece with a stable feel.

(Biography)
Mizuno Komugi was born in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture in 1926 (Taisho 15).
He is the third son of Mizuno Shuzan.
He learned from his father from a young age.
He refined his ceramic skills under the tutelage of Kato Bakufuu.
Also known as Ichun-sai Komugi.
Selected for the Asahi Ceramic Exhibition and others.
Selected for numerous regional exhibitions.
Held solo exhibitions at Daimaru and other venues.
