It is a set of a book and an expansion board.

This is a Direct Digital Synthesizer Board that can set frequencies in a wide range from 50 to 20 MHz with small steps of 1 Hz.
This board also features high frequency accuracy and stability at the crystal oscillator level.
The included board is equipped with a waveform generation IC called DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) (AD9834) and a USB microcontroller (PIC18F14K50) with firmware already written. You can start using it immediately by simply connecting it to your computer.
When combined with expansion boards (attenuator board, log amplifier board, base board with LCD), you can also build your own measuring instruments such as scalar network analyzers and impedance analyzers.
With this set, you can perform the experiments described in the book.
