This is the WESCO Romeo.

The Romeo is WESCO's signature slip-on work shoe.
While offering the same robust construction as lace-up boots, this model prioritizes ease of putting on and taking off, and has been a long-standing classic.

The upper is made of black suede leather.
It features a moist texture and a deep appearance, and as you wear them, the nap and shading will change, allowing you to enjoy the unique aging process of suede.

The construction method is stitch-down.
This structure, which directly stitches the upper and sole together, offers high durability and a stable fit. As the sole is designed to be replaceable, you can wear these shoes for a lifetime with repeated repairs.

Wesco continues to handcraft its products at its own factory in Oregon, USA. In recent years, due to increased demand and a shortage of skilled craftsmen, new orders are said to take approximately two years to complete.
In that regard, the fact that you can immediately wear a pair that has already been broken in is a unique appeal of used items.

The instep features elastic for easy foot entry and a secure, snug fit.
I find the sizing to be relatively less idiosyncratic within the Wesco lineup. In my personal experience,
they feel versatile, accommodating up to around a US 9.

The condition shows typical suede creasing and changes in the nap, but there are no noticeable scratches or deep damage.
While there is some wear on the outsole, the overall condition is good, and they can be worn for a long time with a sole replacement in mind.
