French Army M47 Early Model 33 Vintage Cargo Pants ●

This is a highly popular masterpiece, the French Army M47 cargo pants, with models inspired by Maison Margiela and COMOLI being released in recent years. This is a vintage item. Purchased as deadstock, worn a few times after purchase. The waist has been altered by a professional tailor to include elastic, allowing them to be worn like easy pants.

Although faint, the stencil suggests it is from 1952.

Size notation is 33.

Characterized by a thick, loose silhouette, it features large cargo pockets on the sides and button-adjustable size adjusters at the hem.

This is the early model made of cotton twill fabric.
It features a gusset crotch for ease of movement, and the finishing on the inside of the cargo pocket flaps, double knees, etc., showcase the high level of French craftsmanship of the time.
