This is a Sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument) body made using a DIY assembly kit. I received this instrument that was made from a kit, and it has a solid construction, good sound, and a design I liked. However, it feels a bit large and heavy for me, so I don't use it often. My collection has grown, and although I'm hesitant because I really love the warm handmade feel and sound, I've decided to list it.
