Description
The brass parts have aged to a nice, subdued color rather than being shiny.
The middle A note is not sounding properly. It's hard to see in the photos, but the rubber tube between the wood and the brass has collapsed.
The rubber tubes give the impression of having deteriorated overall, but all notes except for the A sound beautifully.
It doesn't produce dissonant sounds no matter how you play it, making it perfect for a child's instrument!
The two mallets are in good condition.
The new price appears to be ¥23,100 including tax.
I am listing this at a lower price because the A note does not resonate, but rubber tubes and pins can be ordered or repaired at Auluis instrument retailers.
