HM MSD Size Kimono Dressing - Light Pink x Snow Ring with Cherry Blossoms

This is a set of a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) and nagajuban (under-kimono).
(Accessories are not included.)

There is a sweet scent of laundry fragrance.
There are also faint stains and dullness (not visible in photos).
We do not recommend this item for those who are concerned about such details.

This kimono is made from recycled silk fabric (as indicated by the seller) and is hand-stitched to appear as realistic as possible.
Some items may use blended or synthetic fibers. The lining (hakkake) may have uneven dyeing as it was dyed by us. Please note that the bi-yoku (false front) may be slightly short, but it will not be noticeable when worn.
The velcro on the obi may catch.

Dressing Instructions:
*You can enjoy the process of dressing as there are no snaps. Once you get used to it, you can adjust the collar to create a nukeru (pulled-back) look.
*You can replace the half-collar of the nagajuban with fabric of your choice. If you are not comfortable with sewing, you can use double-sided tape. However, please be aware that leaving it on for extended periods may transfer adhesive.
*Inserting a collar stiffener (please prepare your own, such as a thin plastic sheet from a clear folder, adjusted to approximately 12x300mm) inside the half-collar will create a beautiful nukeru effect.
*Dress the nagajuban. Wrap the long elastic band (the shorter one) twice around the waist to prevent the collar from coming undone and to secure the obi.
*Dress the kimono. Pull the right front panel to the right and wrap it around so that the seam of the left front panel aligns with the seam of the tabi. Lift the hem of the right front panel 4-5 cm from the floor, align the left front, and secure with the short elastic band. (The center back of the lower body may shift.)
*Adjust the ohashori (folded hem) and secure with the long elastic band for the datejime (sash). (Image 6) Fold the right front panel under the bust, secure with the first wrap of the long elastic band, pull it through the miyatsuguchi (armhole opening), and then use the second wrap to adjust the ohashori of the left front panel and secure it. To prevent the center back of the upper body from shifting, gather any wrinkles towards the sides.
*The obi uses velcro. Adjust it snugly at the bottom edge. A slight gap at the top will create a nice shape. Please tie the obi-age (sash) and obi-jime (cord).
*Be careful, as pulling the tassels of the obi-jime too hard may cause them to come loose.

- Kimono: Silk, semi-formal bi-yoku style
- Nagajuban: Silk
- 3 elastic bands for dressing (long elastic for nagajuban and datejime for kimono, short elastic for koshihimo/waist cord)

- Obi set: Synthetic fiber (Obi-age is silk. *The obi-age and obi-jime are threaded through the back hane (wing). It may be difficult to re-thread them if removed.)

Tweezers or similar tools without sharp edges will be helpful.
