Scream Glide Glass Rod BGEG-1505

Glide's first glass rod, the GBEG-1505. Made from 100% E-glass, known for its beautiful transparency.
Unlike the slow taper typical of vintage glass rods, this rod features a variable taper starting from a regular-fast action.
The short-length blank and small-diameter light titanium frame guides minimize the characteristic heft, sluggishness, and wobble of glass rods, as well as the strain on your wrist during casting and twitching. The regular-fast action prevents excessive bending, allowing for stable casting with high accuracy and enabling high-speed continuous turns of double-bladed prop baits.

● No Bending Ferrule II... A ferrule dedicated to the Glide Chuck. By chucking the entire inserted part of the blank, it maximizes the blank's performance. It also eliminates problems such as ferrule breakage or bending. When set with the Glide Chuck, it creates an unprecedentedly strong Glide Chucking system.

● Guides... Set with 8 SIC rings in a T-KGSG#6 (x1), T-LKWSG#6 (x4), T-LKWSG#7 (x1), T-LKWSG#8 (x1), T-LKWSG#10 (x1) configuration from the top, all in titanium light frames.

● Smooth Bend Setting... By setting the most flexible side of the blank, where it bends most stably, at 65 degrees to the right from the guide position, we have eliminated lateral wobble and twisting of the rod during casting.
