[Stabilizer Effects]
Planing is a state of navigation where a much larger lift force than buoyancy acts to support the object.
The hull is lifted by the lift force acting on the bottom of the boat, and when planing, the bow lowers, and it is characterized by gliding on the water surface with a trim angle (longitudinal inclination) of 3° to 5° relative to the water.
Therefore, the stabilizer also generates lift on its underside at a trim angle of 3° to 5°.
This lifts the outboard motor and brings it into a planing state more quickly.
If the left and right sides of the stabilizer are bent at a parallel 90°, the water hitting the underside of the stabilizer will have nowhere to escape except to the rear. During planing, the flow velocity will not keep up, causing stagnation, reducing the stabilizer's lift, and decreasing the planing effect.
Bending the stabilizer body is necessary to maintain strength.
This product is designed with the minimum bend required to maintain strength, and is bent into a tapered shape that widens towards the rear to allow water to flow out more easily, ensuring flow velocity and preventing a decrease in planing effect.

Material: SUS304 (Stainless Steel) 2B finish, 2.0mm thick
Laser cut and bent

Resistant to saltwater (rust) and exceptionally strong due to bending.

Install by sandwiching it on top of the anode using the 25mm pitch bolts already on the motor.

★Caution★
If only the two main body mounting points are used, and the stabilizer is subjected to load, such as by contact with a breakwater, the anode bolts may deform or break.
If the bolts break, removal will be difficult.
To prevent this, be sure to install the included reinforcement plates.
Left and right reinforcement plates and mounting bolts are included (stainless steel).
