[Effects of the Stabilizer]
Planing refers to a state of navigation where a much larger lift force than buoyancy acts to support the object.
The hull is lifted by the lift force acting on the bottom of the boat, and when it reaches a planing state, the bow lowers, and it glides over the water with a trim angle (longitudinal tilt) of 3° to 5° relative to the water.
Therefore, the stabilizer also generates lift force on its underside at a trim angle of 3° to 5°.
This lifts the outboard motor and helps it reach a planing state faster.
If the left and right sides of the stabilizer are bent at a parallel 90°, the water hitting the underside of the stabilizer will have nowhere to escape except to the rear. This will cause the water flow to lag behind at planing speeds, creating stagnation and reducing the lift force of the stabilizer, thus decreasing the planing effect.
Bending the stabilizer body is necessary to maintain its strength.
This product is designed with the minimum necessary bend to maintain strength, while also being shaped to allow water to flow easily to the rear, ensuring sufficient flow speed and preventing a decrease in planing effect.

Resistant to saltwater (rust) and exceptionally strong due to the bending process.

Modifying the outboard motor (drilling holes) can peel off the paint and cause corrosion, but this product can be installed without modification, so there is no need to worry about corrosion.
To install, sandwich the cavitation plate.

Significantly reduces water splash from the propeller under the outboard motor (reduces seawater spray on the engine).

Modification may be required depending on the model year.
Left and right plates and mounting bolts are included (stainless steel).
