When raising fry, introducing brine shrimp to the aquarium often leads to hydra outbreaks. This box has a mesh that prevents brine shrimp from passing through, thus suppressing hydra growth.
I had this as a backup but am selling it as I've stopped raising fry.
The suction cups were slightly yellowed when I checked them upon delivery.
