A masterpiece designed by Daisaku Cho, a staff member of Sakakura Associates Architects and Engineers, for spaces designed by Junzo Sakakura, a leading architect of 20th-century Japanese architecture.
This chair fulfills the desire for a comfortable chair that blends seamlessly into Japanese-style living.
The design embodies Japanese modernism, fitting in with any living space, whether Japanese or Western.
As the name Low Seat Chair suggests, the seat is low at 29cm, allowing you to sit cross-legged or with your legs stretched out. The back of the seat is slightly inclined, and the thick cushion supports your body, allowing you to sit without straining your lower back.
The legs are shaped like runners to prevent damage to tatami mats or carpets. It blends well not only with Japanese-style rooms but also with rooms with flooring.
