Hard Kanuma soil refers to the hard type of pumice soil produced around Kanuma City. It is said to be a high-quality product because it is hard, does not easily crumble, and can be used for a long time.

Being hard and granular, it excels in aeration, drainage, water retention, and heat retention.
It is lightweight and slightly acidic, making it versatile and ideal for blending into various potting soils.

Large granules can be used as drainage material at the bottom of pots.

Its high drainage and aeration, along with its hardness and resistance to crumbling, make it suitable for blending into potting soil for succulents such as Haworthia, Agave, and cacti.
