80s UK Vintage Leather Double Riders Jacket Long John Vintage Clothing

This is a late 70s to 80s vintage, made in England Long John style motorcycle jacket.

This is a very rare Long John jacket.
It's extremely uncommon to find vintage American motorcycle jacket designs made from sheep leather.

The design is in the American motorcycle jacket style of the time.
It's a rare type that, like the Sid Vicious-worn 50s rider's jacket, lacks snaps on the upper lapel.
The snaps on the back collar are reminiscent of American motorcycle jackets like the Schott Riders 613 One Star.
Compared to American motorcycle jackets that primarily use cowhide, this one uses sheepskin, which is characteristic of Long Johns and is rarely seen.

The main zipper is an Albert zip, commonly found on Long Johns, while the pocket and sleeve zippers are YKK zippers, also typical of Long Johns from that era.
