As you can see in the photos, there are significant tears.
However, as expected from this product, it is beautiful when lit.
The construction is sturdy, so the tears will not worsen further, but repair is recommended.
I used it as is, positioning the heavily torn areas on the less visible side. (This is just my personal opinion, but it had a certain charm.)
The light is working. You can use it immediately as is.
