There are multiple signs of moth damage on the surface and brim of the hat. The fibers on the surface are worn away, but the damage does not go all the way through. There may also be some loss of shape.

Tape has been applied to the inner sweatband (it is slightly sticky. We have left it as is to avoid damaging the original fabric when removing it).

The lining (inner satin fabric) came off once and has been reattached manually.
