This is a new Igusa center rug with an ajiro pattern.
We've created an Igusa rug featuring the ajiro pattern, which is also favored in kimono designs and often used as a base pattern in dyed textiles.
This is a modern pattern that complements both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms.
The back is lined with non-woven fabric, making it less likely to curl up when placed on flooring or tatami mats, and it won't scratch your floor.
The edges are finished with a wider tape (approx. 3.5cm wide) than usual.
Made from genuine Igusa, it absorbs and releases moisture, making it a comfortable rug for your skin.
