This dining table was designed by Junzo Sakakura, an architect. The legs, made of white beech with rounded corners on all four sides, are combined with a white melamine resin top. It is based on a super lightweight low table created by Tendo Mokko designer Ken Saburo. The tabletop has no apron, and the simple structure integrates seamlessly with the legs. The molded plywood legs are bonded to the tabletop using Tendo Mokko's unique technology, without the use of nails or bolts. The tabletop interior uses a core material called Roll Core, which consists of stacked cylindrical cardboard, making it extremely lightweight. This is a representative masterpiece of Tendo Mokko, achieved with a lightness that allows even an adult woman to carry it.
