Nathan's company history dates back to 1916, when Barnett Nathan, originally from Russia, founded a handmade furniture manufacturing business in London, England.

The company gained widespread recognition after being selected as a representative British design at a furniture exhibition held in New York in 1954. Since then, it has developed into one of the leading furniture manufacturers of British mid-century design, alongside companies like E.GOMME's G-PLAN.

Furniture made by Nathan, which is highly popular in Japan, is rare and scarce even overseas. We recommend this piece not only to collectors but also to those who appreciate mid-century furniture.
