A lidded vessel with a unique design, sold as a set with a plate. (The lid has a convenient handle.)
Purchased about 30 years ago at a pottery fair in Kyoto, but there is no maker's mark or kiln name.
The vessel has an intricate design with swirling lines all over and cute round green tea-colored accents.
It can be used for side dishes or chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard).
The plate has a diameter of approximately 12cm, and the vessel is approximately 9cm in height.
Please note that there is no original box. It is new and unused.
