This specimen was purchased about 4 years ago at a plant pop-up store and blooms with curly leaves and flowers every year.
Please check the photos for size and other details. The bulb will be shipped bare-root.
The bulb being sent was removed from the soil for photography, but it has now been returned to the soil as shown in the third photo and is being managed indoors in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

This is a winter-growing bulbous plant (Cape bulb) native to South Africa, characterized by its unique appearance with silvery-blue, slender leaves that curl around. The more light it receives, the tighter the leaves curl, and it blooms with fragrant flowers from winter to spring. It goes dormant in the summer, shedding its leaves, and survives the season as a bulb. This is a rare succulent with highly ornamental value, whose leaves spiral (corkscrew-like).
* Growing season: Autumn to Spring (winter-growing). It grows when temperatures are around 20°C and goes dormant in the summer.
* Sunlight: Prefers sunlight. The leaves curl tightly when exposed to ample sunlight. Insufficient sunlight will cause the leaves to grow straight.
* Watering: Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. It is drought-tolerant, but be careful not to overwater.
* Soil and pot: Well-draining soil and a slitted pot are suitable.
* Summer care: In summer, the leaves wither and only the bulb remains, so manage it by drying it in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
It blooms with white to pale yellow flowers in spring and prefers a dry environment, making it an easy plant for beginners to manage.
