Long-term storage from family home.
Set of 2 yunomi (teacups). Includes wooden box and instruction manual.
The instruction manual states it is Mino ware, so we believe it to be so.
It appears to have the characters 和 (wa - Japanese/harmony) and 協 (kyō - cooperation/harmony) inscribed.
The 協 character appears slightly larger than the 和 character. The cups fit snugly in the box and show no signs of use, remaining clean. The 和 cup appears to have been used once.
Simple and beautiful design.
