This is medium-leaf Spanish moss.
It weighs about 70g and is about 40cm long, giving it a good volume!
Growing Spanish moss is not difficult, but there are some tricks.
We will include an easy-to-understand instruction manual (3 pages) for your reference.
Note) For medium-leaf varieties, although the Spanish moss itself is healthy, the inside of the bundles, which is not visible from the outside, tends to get steamed and turn brown as if it has died. Removing all the brown parts would reduce the volume, so please understand that there may be some brown parts if you want to emphasize volume. New shoots will emerge from the tips of the leaves, so there are no issues with care or quality!
Spanish moss (also known as Tillandsia usneoides orサルオガセモドキ) is irresistibly cute with its fluffy texture. It's a type of air plant that is said to be relatively easy to care for, and it looks wonderful when incorporated into your interior decor!
Mist with a spray bottle almost daily, and soak the entire plant once a month (for about 4-6 hours). If it stays humid for too long, it can rot, so after soaking, dry it thoroughly by hanging it upside down in a well-ventilated area. Also, during humid seasons like the rainy season, soaking is not necessary for the reasons mentioned above. Air plants absorb moisture at night, so try to water them between the evening and night.
This is a very sturdy medium-leaf variety!
Spanish moss is weak to dryness, so thicker, more voluminous varieties are more resistant to dryness, stronger, and easier to manage than those with less volume.
