Made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Sadoya Farm in Zenkoji-cho, Kofu City.
This wine is produced using Sadoya's traditional aging method: carefully brewed wine is stored in oak barrels and then aged in 1.8-liter bottles. This is a multi-vintage wine, blended from several years of aged wine in the best possible balance. Compared to previous Chateau Brillant Mure, this vintage uses a higher proportion of new barrels, emphasizing not only the aged character but also rich fruitiness and strength.
It has a bright garnet color with a slightly brick-red hue at the edge. It offers a complex aroma of black fruits such as cassis and blackberry, along with notes from the barrel aging, and a refreshing herbal scent in the background. The attack is powerful, with a good balance of rich fruitiness, elegant acidity, and mellow tannins, resulting in a graceful and full-bodied taste. This wine is expected to further enhance its charm with continued aging.
It pairs well with dishes like roast beef and hamburgers with demi-glace sauce, as well as sukiyaki, simmered beef, and grilled eel, which have a rich sweet and savory flavor.
Medium-full bodied. Recommended serving temperature is around 16-18°C (61-64°F).
