This is a hand-crank coffee roaster.

This unit is a custom modification based on a used roaster that had damage to its mesh. The modifications were made with heat efficiency and roasting stability in mind.

[Improvements Made]
- Changed to a double-layer mesh structure (creating a gap of approximately 10mm).
- Incorporated ceramic pins to create gaps, improving heat convection and radiant heat efficiency.
- Designed for heat circulation from the coarser mesh to the finer mesh.

These improvements reduce heat loss and enhance roasting efficiency.

In actual roasting tests:
Roasting time to the first crack was reduced from approximately 12 minutes to approximately 11 minutes over medium-high heat.

It provides good heat circulation and allows for stable roasting.

The simple structure makes maintenance easy, making it recommended for those who want to start home roasting or for outdoor use.
