Reiwa 7 (2025) Harvest Iga, Mie Prefecture Koshihikari Rice, 20kg (5kg x 4 bags), Polished White Rice
To Our Valued Customers,
This is our new harvest of Iga-grown Koshihikari rice from Reiwa 7 (2025).
This product is polished white rice, weighing 20kg, divided into four 5kg bags for your convenience.
We are rice producers and sellers based in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, a region rich in nature with the expansive Iga Basin, renowned for its thriving Koshihikari rice cultivation.
Our rice is meticulously sorted during the hulling process, removing immature grains to ensure high-quality brown rice.
We are confident in the excellent taste and quality of our Iga-grown Koshihikari rice, which has a well-established reputation.
This rice is 100% single-origin Iga-grown Koshihikari.
Iga-grown Koshihikari is a rare and prized rice cultivated in the Iga Basin of Mie Prefecture.
The Iga region, surrounded by mountains, boasts abundant clear streams and beautiful water. The significant temperature difference between day and night has historically made it an ideal location for rice farming.
While Koshihikari is famous nationwide, the Iga region's rich natural conditions provide the perfect environment for its cultivation. Consequently, Koshihikari is grown extensively here, branded as Iga-grown Koshihikari, and is a product we focus on cultivating with great care.
Iga-grown Koshihikari has achieved a Special A rating in taste evaluations, and was once again selected for Special A in Reiwa 7.
Its characteristics include the signature Koshihikari traits: plump, soft, and sticky texture, with a lustrous sheen on each grain and a delightful aroma when cooked.
The flavor deepens as you chew, offering a gentle mouthfeel unique to Koshihikari.
Even when cold, Iga-grown Koshihikari retains its plumpness. While it may lose some moisture compared to freshly cooked rice, it develops a pleasant firmness and chewiness, allowing the distinct flavor of each grain to shine through. This offers a different texture and an enhanced taste experience compared to freshly cooked rice, and is highly praised for its deliciousness even when cooled.
It is perfect for bento boxes and onigiri (rice balls) for home or on-the-go.
We invite you to try it for yourself.
The rice will be polished after you place your order.
We recommend consuming the rice within one month of polishing.
Regarding product details, as per regulations for rice sales to consumers, the seller, origin, variety, and harvest year will be printed on the back of the bag upon shipment.
In the unlikely event that you find any foreign matter such as rice bran after polishing, please rinse the rice lightly with water. This will not affect its edibility.
Please note that delivery costs and a small amount for polishing loss are not included in the price.
Prices may fluctuate due to various costs. We appreciate your understanding.
