Wakayama Prefecture Organic Small Green Plums have a strong sourness and flavor, with a firm texture. Green plums are entirely green and still unripe if they feel hard to the touch. While harvest months vary by region, they are generally harvested from early June. Ripe plums are yellow and characterized by their soft flesh and sweetness. Many people likely associate them with a luxurious image. They are yellow all over and feel soft to the touch. Harvesting usually begins about half a month to a month later than green plums, often from mid-June onwards.
