It can hold two Goshuincho books (12x18x1.5 cm each) separately.
There is a pocket between the Goshuincho books, approximately 17x9 cm, for storing Omikuji (fortune slips) or amulets.
It is designed with a tie closure to accommodate varying thicknesses.
