This is a Road Coat with a Japanese pattern, made between the 1980s and 1990s, purchased at a vintage clothing store in Tokyo for approximately 23,000 yen.
According to the vintage store owner,
This item is from around the 80s. Japanese culture became popular in Europe, and local designers created this Italy-made item as an homage to Japanese Road Coats.

It features a fine, check-like Japanese pattern on a brown base.
They mentioned that the sewing during this era was done by hand, and I remember my wife purchasing it because she liked the intricate weave.
I was moved by the European homage to Japan and wore it myself as a stylish accent piece for Ura-Hara fashion. However, as I've gotten older, I no longer wear it, so I'm listing it for sale hoping someone who appreciates it will take it.
