Hige Tsumugi Haori - Navy - Compatible Height 167-172cm - Men's - Kendo - Iaido - 318H

This is a pre-owned men's haori (kimono jacket) meticulously hand-sewn from hige-tsumugi silk.

The material features unique, protruding threads, approximately 1cm to 1.5cm in length, creating an interesting texture that invites touch and offers a distinctive feel. (See photo 10)

Among men's haori, which typically show little variation in material, this style with its distinctive, beard-like protruding threads is highly popular.

- We received requests from martial arts instructors (kendo, iaido, etc.) for garments that could be worn over their dogi (uniform) and hakama. We proposed options using materials such as Oshima-tsumugi, Yuki-tsumugi, and hige-tsumugi.

- We have also received requests for haori and nagagi (kimono) to be sold separately, and for guidance on how to choose the correct size.
