This is an extremely rare work, and as far as I can tell, it has never been released on DVD.

This is the second TV special anime adaptation of Nine, a masterpiece of Adachi Mitsuru's youth baseball manga.
The baseball team at Seishu High School is made up of teammates like Katsuya Niimi and Susumu Karasawa. They have advanced to their second year, and entering as underclassmen is Jiro Yamanaka. This Jiro is the younger brother of Kentaro Yamanaka, the ace pitcher for the Budan High School baseball team, who is a strong rival to Katsuya and his teammates in both baseball and their pursuit of their beloved girl, Yuri Nakao. Jiro joins the Seishu baseball team, but his interest is focused on Yukimi Yasuda, a hopeful from the track and field club...
