Description
This is a J. Michael bassoon. The list price is ¥400,000 (actual selling price around ¥300,000), and it is a model not released in Japan.
The wood density is solid, the key touch is fine, and it's a good model with a strong sound. I've cherished it, but I'm selling it due to financial circumstances.
I believe the water key, which makes draining water easier, is also a highly rated feature.
I've confirmed the sound from Low B♭ up to High D (technically playable). All keys are movable, and while the pads may be due for replacement, they are currently in good condition with no issues.
Due to being made in China, the plating precision of the keys is slightly poor, showing some roughness. Additionally, the cork on the right-hand pianissimo key (connected to Low E) has deteriorated.
Included accessories are two bocals (domestic manufacturer #1, Schreiber #2).
The hard case is from a different instrument, so it will be shipped with the double joint cover removed.
