Made with Spanish Medir cane. We exclude overly soft cane during production (as it affects resonance and playability across the entire range).
The tone is rich in vibration, yet easily controllable from bright to dark sounds.
Easy to control dynamics (p), and balanced for low and high registers.
Shaped with a new machine, resulting in a slightly thicker heel but a beautiful slope from the embracing part to the tip, ensuring good responsiveness and a stable, well-balanced finish. For harder reeds, hand-finishing is applied from the heel to achieve balance.

Medir cane is shaped using Reason Staff's straight shaper R1 with profiled, barrel-shaped cane processed by Medir.
The thread on the reed is currently light pink.
