In December 2021, Hideki Kuriyama was appointed as the manager of the Japan National Baseball Team, Samurai Japan's top team. The manager, who loved baseball and his players more than anyone, began dedicating his entire passionate soul to the 2023 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™ held in March 2023.
The goal: World Champions.
