This is an antique haori-himo from long ago. It is believed to be coral-like. Based on the pattern, it does not appear to be genuine coral, but please judge from the photos.
It was found in its original red box.
Haori are not often seen worn these days, but I think they would look lovely worn in a Taisho Roman style, or perhaps repurposed into a necklace or other accessory.
