This story takes place after Aoba's Record. Wake Up, Girls!, who were active as idols in their hometown of Sendai, suddenly encounter producer Hayasaka. This original story depicts their struggles as they try to mature as idols under Hayasaka's guidance. The script is by Touko Machida, who also wrote the anime script and the stage play Aoba's Record. The overall director is Kazuyoshi Matsuta, and the director is Seiya Hagiwara.
