This is an audio release featuring dialogue from the film The Castle of Cagliostro, based on Monkey Punch's Lupin the 3rd, which remains immensely popular. In the era before video and DVD became widespread, cassette tapes and records were the primary media, making these audio releases unique. The dialogue is memorable for fans.
The soundtrack was originally a two-volume set, but only the first volume is included; the second volume is missing. The drama edition is an edited version of approximately half the length of the main film, featuring highlight dialogue sections. Includes a commentary card with excerpts from the highlight scene film script and storyboards.
Acquired about 40 years ago, played a few times, and then stored in a cool, dark place for many years. Playback confirmed on a cassette deck.
