Description
Chikusen of Edo's Style

Many have been searching for Chikusen's legendary Kagozome dyeing technique.

This is a double-sided dyed yukata that was immensely popular but is no longer produced or sold due to the aging of artisans.

The front features a rose pattern within a fine dot pattern of navy and white, reminiscent of Edo Komon. This intricate technique is a unique charm of Chikusen.

The back has a clean navy background with delicate small flowers blooming in white.

The Kagozome dyeing technique has been lost, and the remaining items have become scarce.

Founded in 1842 during the late Edo period, Chikusen is a long-established store in Nihonbashi that preserves the tradition of Edo Yukata through traditional dyeing methods. Despite being a long-established brand, Chikusen always exudes a sense of innovative charm. This may be because Chikusen has expressed the spirit of Edo in its yukata since its founding.

The images were taken at different times of day to clearly show the colors.

The color is a deep navy, but combined with the white, it gives a relatively refreshing impression.

Hand-stitched by a first-class seamstress.
The collar lining is made of linen, as requested.

It is made with a wide collar, so we recommend wearing it over a nagajuban as a summer kimono from May.
We hope you will enjoy this exquisite item, crafted with the utmost care and time by artisans.

It has been worn only once for a short period.
Unfortunately, there are several small spots due to storage. They are barely noticeable even when you look closely, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about them.

I wanted to upload them to the images, but I couldn't distinguish the spots even when photographed against the pattern.

They will be completely unnoticeable when worn. We are offering it at a lower price because of this, so we appreciate your understanding.

It should be a perfect fit for someone who wears a size M.
