The album has already sold over 150,000 copies in the US and is creating a buzz on college radio and through online downloads! Jem began composing at age 13 and started producing her own music after graduating from university. Inspired by encounters with artists like Guy Sigsworth (Bjork), she went on to fuse various musical styles with Ge-Ology and Yord Nevo, ultimately creating Jem's unique sound characterized by diverse rhythms and deep lyrics. In March 2004, she debuted her album on Ato Records, a label owned by Dave Matthews. Without extensive promotion, her popularity grew organically, selling over 150,000 copies nationwide in one year. Jem is a truly current artist who vividly embodies the ongoing American music scene in terms of her popularity, presence, and style!

Includes the track It's Amazing, which was featured in the movie Sex and the City, a piano-driven song with urban melancholy that deeply resonates with women.

The production team includes Greg Kurstin (The Bird and the Bee), who has worked with Lily Allen and Kylie Minogue; Lester Mendez, known for his work on albums by Shakira and Santana; and Jeff Bass, known for his early work with Eminem, among other notable figures.
As Jem herself describes it, a strange mix of soul, hip-hop, reggae, dance music, movie soundtracks, classical music, and bittersweet love songs. The songs greedily incorporate the essence of various pop music genres, filtered through her own unique style, resulting in music that is highly sophisticated yet filled with fresh surprises and thrills.
