Purchased 17 years ago at a Yamaha authorized dealer with a professional instructor present.
It has a good sound, no unevenness in tone, and excellent intonation.
High notes are also easy to hit.
Another professional instructor also played it and commented that it is a great instrument that is easy to get a good sound from.
The Kruspe wrap and large bell produce a rich sound, but surprisingly, it is relatively easy to play, feeling like it can be played with little effort. I believe it is also adept at delicate expression.

It gives the impression of an instrument that can bring out various nuances by finely reflecting the player's individuality and the mouthpiece used. Personally, I feel that the sound changes significantly depending on the player, and individuality is easily reflected. However, some have commented that anyone who plays it will sound like Tsutomu Maruyama. I think it would be particularly worthwhile to be particular about choosing a mouthpiece for this instrument.

As it has been played for a considerable period, there are some scratches, lacquer peeling, and very minor dents, but it has never been in an accident and has been carefully handled.
There is no stiffness in the rotors or slides.
It is still in good condition and can be used for a long time.
It is a wonderful instrument, but I own two other horns and have had fewer opportunities to play this one recently, so I would like it to go to someone who will play it. That is why I am listing it here.

Please consider it after viewing the other images.
I will answer any questions as best as I can.

I do not plan to include a mouthpiece, but if you wish, I can include a Yamaha 32C4 (used, with signs of use). The 32C4 is a basic mouthpiece, but it responds well, is easy to play, and pairs well with this instrument.

Thank you for your consideration.
