Description
This is a 240cm Ortovox carbon avalanche probe. It is an older model, so the included system is slightly different. Please check the photos.
The tensioning mechanism is made of aluminum, making it heavier but more durable than plastic. The joint adhesion is also in perfect condition.
The pipe diameter is 12mm, and the weight is 300g for the probe and 10g for the case.
I purchased this as a spare but have never used it. I haven't even taken it into the mountains, so it is completely unused.
I assembled it once for inspection when I purchased it and then stored it away.
