This is a YAMAHA XENO YSL882U II tenor bass trombone.

Xeno series B♭/F trombone. Bell is 220mm diameter yellow brass, one-piece construction. Outer slide is yellow brass, inner slide is nickel silver. Bore size is large bore 13.89mm, finished with clear lacquer.

The narrow slide is characterized by not only allowing players with smaller hands to hold the instrument stably, but also by its dense and fine tone.

This is an instrument from YAMAHA's highest-end XENO brand.
This model is one generation prior to the current YSL882 model.

It is a top-quality instrument with the reliable quality and tone expected of a top-class model.
It is a very popular model in wind ensembles.

[Fully Adjusted]
All functions have been smoothly adjusted by a repair technician.
It has been finished to be significantly easier to play than a new instrument purchased from a general music store.
The slide and rotary valve move very smoothly.

There is significant lacquer wear (rust) on the outer slide surface, the main tuning slide, and the F slide, but the bell and inner tubing are in relatively good condition. There are no noticeable dents. (One small dent was confirmed on the slide crook (image 3)).

It can be used without any issues for wind ensembles.
