YAMAHA YTR-8345R Large Bore Custom Satin Lacquer

This is a Yamaha Bb trumpet, model YTR-8345R.

It features a custom satin lacquer finish.

The combination of a yellow brass bell, large bore, and satin lacquer finish is quite rare, I believe.

The warranty card indicates a new purchase date of 2018, but it has been used very little and is in excellent condition.

There are almost no noticeable scratches, but there are very small pinhole-like marks near the base of the bell and around the 1st valve slide.

While it has a large bore (L bore) that allows for more air than the standard ML bore, the satin lacquer provides a moderate tightening of the sound while also adding a pleasant richness. This creates a very comfortable balance with the brightness of the yellow brass bell.

According to the official Yamaha website, the typical delivery time is 4-5 months.

The current new retail price for the standard lacquer finish is ¥478,500, and I expect the satin lacquer finish would add a bit more to that price.
