I purchased this new about 10 years ago and have kept it stored in its box, unused. I will also send the accessories (strap, instruction manual, etc.) in the same condition as when purchased.
The plastic bag containing the strap is unopened, but the rubber band that held it together has deteriorated with age and has slightly melted onto the metal. It should come off if you peel it with your fingernail and polish it with a soft cloth, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
