【For Pickup by Michelle Only】Chaki F-25 Double Bass (Manufactured approx. 2000)

This is a listing for a Chaki double bass (F-25, possibly from 2000).

I was interested in Chaki double basses, which are reputed to have high specifications among domestically produced mass-produced double basses, and I acquired an F-25.
There were cracks on both sides of the scroll, but they have been repaired at a workshop. (Photos 6 & 7)
I am not very familiar with the detailed specifications, but according to related websites, they are as follows:
Top: Solid Spruce
Back: Maple Plywood
Side: Maple Plywood
Fingerboard: Ebony
While some fingerboards appear to be made of maple that has been dyed, this instrument seems to have an ebony fingerboard. (The tailpiece appears to be painted.) Additionally, I have requested the bridge (string height) and soundpost to be adjusted at a workshop.
Chaki instruments are known for their individual variations, but this instrument has a remarkably calm and resonant sound for a top-only solid wood construction. (The strings are used but are Flexocor.)
Apart from the scroll area, there are no noticeable scratches, peeling, or buzzing, so it appears to be in very good condition.
A Toyo Gakki soft case (Photo 10, used, good condition) is included as an accessory.
I am listing this item as 【For Middle/High School/University Students - Pickup Only】 with the hope of providing a good quality instrument to students in brass bands, orchestras, string ensembles, or clubs who are relatively new to playing the double bass.

Delivery by a shipping company is not possible, so please arrange for pickup at my home in eastern Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, or in western Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
For locations within Yamagata Prefecture or neighboring prefectures such as south of Akita City in Akita Prefecture, north of Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture, or north of Niigata City in Niigata Prefecture, I can deliver to the nearest designated location for an additional fee to cover fuel costs, etc. If it is along the Tohoku Shinkansen line, I can also deliver to the nearest Shinkansen station for an additional fee to cover transportation costs. (I can also accommodate locations like Ueno Station in Tokyo.)
Test playing is possible, so please contact me via the comment section. The test playing location will be either my home in eastern Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, or western Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. If test playing in Osaki City, there will be a venue rental fee of 500 yen per person (plus an additional fee for each accompanying person).
